Mike Connolly is a semi-retired molecular graphics programmer. Although I spent ten years at the University of California at Berkeley, I did not obtain a good liberal arts education. Their breadth requirements were watered down. Rather than replace the current so-called multicultural curriculum with a return to a classical liberal arts program, it is best that we move forward to create a new curriculum. The one hundred best non-fiction books that I have reviewed I have moved to a newer blog called Serious Breadth. They are also available as an ebook for $4.95 from Amazon, called Serious Breadth. Reviews for more obscure books, books having less than about 100 ratings in Goodreads, have been moved to Goodreads, so that more people will run across my reviews. Books that don’t fall into either category remain in this blog, Mike’s Non-Fiction.
